It's That Time of Year Again

(Pesach is Hebrew for Passover)

No, not the government shut-down, though it was temporarily averted at the last minute.

No, I am referring to Passover, that major source of OCD for those not otherwise suffering from OCD. Just look at its accompanying madness: cleaning, shopping, cooking, and more cleaning and shopping. See what I mean? Still no time to knit!

What's done so far:
Carpets cleaned

Oven cleaned

Chandelier and breakfront cleaned

Silver polished

Rocky bathed

Kosher-for-Passover pet food purchased (yep, even they must change their diets; the birds will stage a hunger strike for the first day or so, then remember how much they like spray millet)

Cars cleaned and vacuumed

Non-perishables and some perishables purchased


What's left:
Purchasing remaining perishables

Doing a wine inventory and purchasing wine (we each drink 4 cups at each seder.)

Cleaning/covering/kashering rest of the kitchen

Switching dishes, cooking utensils, and cutlery

Cooking, cooking, baking, then more cooking

Someone needs to remember to pick up DD#2 from the train station Monday
